Held at Roots & Wings Yoga and Healing Arts (Natick, MA)
Happiness is generally considered a "positive" emotion, but that doesn't mean we don't have a lot of baggage around it. Sometimes we feel compelled to pretend to be happy even when we're not. Other times happiness feels shameful and wrong: "How can I be happy when other people are suffering?" And sometimes we confuse the pursuit of happiness with the pursuit of comfort, when they are not the same thing.
In this workshop we will explore what genuine happiness looks like, where it comes from, and what role it plays in our lives. Bring your own life wisdom to add to this interactive, engaging discussion.
Men and women, teens and adults, are all welcome. Please contact me to RSVP.
A $5-25 donation is requested to support the Gift of Happiness project. Non-monetary contributions are welcome as well.
